Benzon Symposium no. 70 – Artificial Intelligence in Cardiovascular Disease

Radisson Collection Hotel, Copenhagen, September 7-10, 2026

Organizers: Christian Hassager, Susanne Brix Pedersen, Morten Schou and Lars Køber

The idea of the 70th Benzon Symposium is to bring together the world’s leading scientists within artificial intelligence and medicine with a special focus on cardiology. The symposium aims to create an educative and interactive environment for both young and experienced researchers. We will explore the fundamentals of AI as well as its clinical implementation and research applications, covering both methodological development and practical use in cardiovascular medicine.

The Symposium will be a four-day scientific meeting, Monday to Thursday from 09:00 to 17:30. The format will be a combination of state-of-the-art lectures by invited speakers, selected oral-poster presentations and poster sessions from younger researchers selected from submitted abstracts. Attendance will be limited to 100 scientific participants in total. The venue will be Radisson Collection Hotel (https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/), beautifully located in the heart of the Copenhagen for the entire event.
